“Art is not a heavy thing and the art is short”, that quote is from what Iend said when interviewed by Bayu Edi, at that time Bayu interviewed Iend as the basis for the creation of his work in a solo exhibition. But that is what iend believes, art is not something to be glorified, let art be a medium to communicate and convey what we think visually. Iend figured that the thing to think about is life itself, life is a long process and everyone is going to grasp, life is not just finished here but many other stages after the present life are finished, like life after death, and so on.

Iendlovebadillust is a street art artist and a graphic designer based in Surabaya, he took D3 Graphic Design at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, then continued his study to S1 at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Iend itself is joined with several art groups among the ARC (art clinic), Serbuk Kayu, Panggon 140, and several other groups.

In his work, Iend created a monster figure named Guardian Sulfur, a figure consistently always raised by Iend in each work he made. Although always appears, Iend always explores the shape of this figure to match what it wants to convey. This figure alone is a representative form of Iend to communicate to anyone who sees his work on the conception of living itself.

Many figures are portrayed with the position of praying hands, this being one of the symbols that always exist, which Iend wishes to convey is that every human being must have a belief, a hope to live life, and the form of belief and hope is prayer, every day. And the work created by Iend is a form of prayer that he prayed through the visual form. Because the narrative Iend wishes to communicate is about prayer, in this solo exhibition Iend will take the title of the sprayer exhibit derived from the word Spray (spray, identical to the medium used by street artists who use spray paint or commonly called pilox) and Prayer (which is adapted from the word in English which means to pray). In this exhibition, Iend will live to make a work and then put it in the lobby artotel.
