• Description : Megaliths are historical relics since the neolithic era, these relics are the entrance to read the events and wisdom that occurred in the past. Today’s humans also continue to create legacies for the next generation, but unfortunately the legacies are not always good, one of which is waste, or more specifically plastic waste. Plastic is indeed an invention that changes the lives of many people because of its practical function, but on the other hand, waste that has not been used if not properly processed will latently pollute the environment. In this work, I bring up the collage of plastic waste, what I want to talk about is how megalith statues become ancestral relics, and plastic waste will become the legacy of this generation for the next generation, but unfortunately this plastic will become a legacy that has a destructive power towards nature. In this work, there will be 8 collage works with objects found around the megalith site.
  • This work was collaborated with Marianus Nuwa, whose work is in the form of found objects. To make our work more connected we created a podcast that discusses our research process and findings.
